Her experience in the building process, order of construction and communication with contractors helps her clients face the quickly overwhelming number of decisions required for a remodel or new build. Since the design decisions for construction are ones clients will live with for years, Karen looks to create lasting designs that support the way they live surrounded by things they love.

All of Karen's design plans keep the end user in mind. She sketches furniture plans in the very early stages of any floor plan concept. With a philosophy of sustainability, she selects furnishings with timeless style that are built to last, in materials that are both easy to live with and luxurious. When custom furniture, rugs and window coverings are needed, Karen has a network of craftspeople to collaborate with.
